My infatuation with snowmobiles began when my dad bought a 1985 Yamaha Phazer in the early 1990s. As a kid my dad hauled me all over the mountain in Idaho and Wyoming. Since then I have been spending a lot of time in the mountains. To ensure that I can be in the snowmobile industry, I started taking photos for American Snowmobiler Magazine in 2005. In 2008 I started taking photos, and writing editorials for Snowmobile.com. I thought I was a pretty good rider, until I first rode with Bret Rasmussen in 2004. Ever since that day he continues to show me that I have a long ways to go. I look forward to each year so I can ride Bret’s custom sleds. Shiny side up, spinny side down!
