Description

High tension, high performance drive clutch spring for Ski-Doo P drive. Manufactured from titanium for the memory qualities inherent with this material. Where chrome-silicon material is generally the material of choice for spring manufacturing because of cost and availability, the titanium material has superior performance, does not take a set and is considerably less weight. The P drive clutch uses an open coil spring requiring cups on both ends while it is installed in the clutch. The open coil design is less costly to manufacture but springs rates are more inconsistent than closed coil springs. They are also more likely to distort when compressed. The titanium spring we offer has a closed coil design and the ends are ground to allow the spring to seat flat as it is installed in the clutch without the spring end caps.

This spring is manufactured with a spring rate of 200/320. 200 @ 74 mm installed height and 320 @ 42 mm compressed height.

This spring must also be installed using the factory supplied spring end cups.
