Manufactured from stainless steel, I have designed this protector to prevent damage to your G4 and G5 heat exchanger, eliminating punctures and coolant lose. Early season and low snow conditions allow the spinning track to pick up small rock and propel them into the front portion of the cooler, sometimes piercing the material causing coolant leaks and over heated engine. This guard will easily slip into place after removing two tunnel rivets, then secure with two supplied bolts and 4 additional lower heat exchanger bolts. Don’t find yourself deep into the back country with a hole in your cooler, get this protective guard installed today.
