Ride Rasmussen Style Clinics
Clinics offered in West Yellowstone, MT are offered daily through outfitter Three Bear Rentals. Ride Rasmussen Style requires a minimum of two people in our daily clinics. If you have selected a date, no one else has booked, you will be asked to either move your clinic day to a different date or pay a minimum of $850 (equal to two spots in the clinic.) Please enjoy our new booking service SnowDirt. We now offer single and multi day passes to enjoy your clinic experience. Passes are not required to be used consecutively. You will enjoy the same experience as a 1 day riding clinic but in the comfort of your own private group. Include up to 10 of your family and friends. Instructor Guide Clinic
A four day clinic that includes instruction on the basic of operating a guide service, how to instruct a Ride Rasmussen Style clinic, AIARE Rescue Course and Wilderness CPR & First Aid training. Courses can be purchased individually or as a package. *Montana resort tax added at the time of purchase.

Women's Clinic: $850 (2 days)
The perfect experience for any woman rider wanting to traverse the backcountry easier and safer. The clinic is geared to helping you learn tips and tricks on how to use the snowmobile to work with you versus against you making your day on the snow fun. You will enjoy the same experience as a 1 day clinic but with the comfort of other woman riders all encouraging one another on to challenge themselves and feel more confident on their snowmobile and in the backcountry. And don’t worry about getting stuck, the Ride Rasmussen Style instructors have tips for that too giving you the confidence you need to go wherever your heart desires. *Montana resort tax added at the time of purchase.
2 Day Snowy Range Clinic with Cameron Chimenti ~ 3C Guiding Centennial, WY
You will enjoy a 2 day riding clinic in the Snowy Range Mountains of Wyoming. This is a great way for you to learn the Ride Rasmussen Style riding techniques helping you traverse the backcountry safer and meet fellow snowmobilers and have fun. 3C Guiding, LLC is an equal opportunity service provider operating under a Use Permit with the Medicine Bow-Route National Forest Snowy Range disctrict and Shoshone National Forest.
Kra-Z's Snowmobile Rentals & Backcountry Guide Service is offering 1, 2, 3 Day Clinic's and a Women's Clinic in 2022. These clinics are all a great way to learn the Ride Rasmussen Style riding techniques and enhance your riding abilities. Avalanche certification courses
AIARE Rescue: $150 (1 session)
Avalanche Rescue is for everyone, whether you are just learning how to use your transceiver, an aspiring professional, or a backcountry traveler with many years of backcountry experience. This one-day course is a place to both learn new skills and keep your existing skills sharp. Avalanche Rescue is a prerequisite for the AIARE 2. Must be able to traverse the backcountry on snowmobile. Open to snowbikes but not snowbike specific. *Montana resort tax added at the time of purchase.
AIARE 1: $449 (2 days)
The AIARE 1 is a two-day course that provides an introduction to using decision making tools to help a group manage risk while traveling in avalanche terrain. Students can expect to develop a good grounding in how to prepare for and carry out a backcountry trip, to understand basic decision making while in the field, and to learn rescue techniques required to find and dig up a buried person (if an avalanche occurs and someone in the party is caught). Must be able to traverse the backcountry on snowmobile. Open to snowbikes but not snowbike specific.

AIARE 2: $549 (2 days)
The AIARE 2 is a two-day course for those who have taken an AIARE 1 and Avalanche Rescue and have had at least a year of backcountry travel experience. The AIARE 2 provides backcountry leaders the opportunity to advance their avalanche knowledge and decision making skills by applying their skills to new terrain and situations. Avalanche Rescue is a prerequisite for the AIARE 2. It is highly recommended that participants gain at least one season’s worth of backcountry travel experience between taking the AIARE 1 and the AIARE 2. Must be able to traverse the backcountry on snowmobile. Open to snowbikes but not snowbike specific. *Montana resort tax added at the time of purchase.

Clinic FAQs
Montana Trail Permit Required
Permits can be purchased in West Yellowstone, MT at the West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce.
Required Riding Equipment
A transceiver, shovel and probe are required when attending a Ride Rasmussen Style clinic. This equipment must be carried on the rider and not on the sled.
Attend Morning Briefing
RRS Clinic Morning Briefing starts at 9 a.m. M.T. on the day of the clinic.
Away All Day
Be prepared to spend all day in the backcountry; bring food and water with you.
Return & Debrief
Clinics will return around 5 or 6 (depending on sunset) and will close with a debriefing with the instructors
Push Your Ability
Under professional supervision the instructors will push your ability.
