Each of these Rasmussen Guide Grade branded kits have been assembled with consideration to weight, size and quality needed to support emergency situations specific to wintertime, motorized backcountry travel. When high quality is important, I have sought out the best components available, if less important, I have sourced second grade components to reduce costs involved. These kits are minimalized to be compact and light in weight, this means that if components are used up, they, then need to be replaced as needed. Not every situation can be predicted, therefore these kits cannot be expected to be complete in every way. This is simply a means to provide the most important and essential items and give the outdoor user a platform to build from.

Within this category I have created an extensive emergency survival kit, an advanced first aid kit, a trauma kit and finally a basic first aid kit. These are designed to be stand alone kits or combined to create the perfect emergency package for every snowmobiler.
